Rebecca Yeaman
Rebecca has been providing instruction, training and consultation in end-user computer software applications since 1989. Her expertise in electronic documentation and training delivery have allowed her to help hundreds of computer users to gain mastery of the skills they need in the applications that are relevant for the work they do. She also produces electronic documentation and presentations, streamlining and reducing paperwork for companies. As the former owner of Computer Training Center of Ventura County, she relocated to Oregon in 2001 and re-established her computer consulting and training business in the Northwest.
She also serves as chair of the Education and Public Relations committee as part of the Multnomah County Advisory Task Force addressing the growing issues of bed bug infestations. Rebecca is committed to educating others about the growing problem of bed bug infestations across the country and how to properly treat and cope with bed bug infestations.
In 2003 Rebecca began volunteering in community radio, which led to on-air interviews with personalities and authors including, Sarah Vowell, Deborah Santana, Liz Pearl, and musicians Martha Wainwright and Jason Webley. She continues to train new volunteers in audio production for radio and news broadcasting. Rebecca chairs the programming committee at KBOO community radio, shepherding the volunteer run radio station through programming changes.
Most recently Rebecca is blogging for business, and producing a technology radio program called Digital Divide. When she's not at the keyboard, you might find a pair of knitting needles in her hands, or find her camping in her much beloved camper van. She has four adult sons and someday plans to write a Gothic memoir titled "My Life in the House of Testosterone."
Her philosophy is "life is short, time is limited, have fun!"
